Bi March For Equality

Dear bisexual+ community member or ally,

Some members of the LGBTQ+ community have seen historic progress in the last decade, so  some might assume we've overcome our biggest obstacles, and that the achievement of increased access for some of us, is enough to satisfy our cry for justice for all.

As bisexuals we know that not to be true, to never be true because until all our communities are safe, none of us are. There is still much more we must do, especially given the current threat our communities face from increased hostile rhetoric, discriminatory policies, and violence perpetrated against the most vulnerable among us.

As a disabled bisexual demisexual elder myself, I'm worried and scared for my own health and safety as well as that of my community, which already faces very high health disparities. This is why I have decided to co-chair the Equality March for Unity & Pride, a national march in Washington D.C on June 11th, 2017.

Read more about march at equalitymarch2017.org and read more about my fellow co-chairs who I believe represents the diversity within our community here.

Will you support the march?  Will you join the bisexual+ contingent as we proudly march in what could be one of the largest bisexual contingents of all time?
The Equality March for Unity & Pride is a grassroots movement that will celebrate, inspire, and mobilize the diverse LGBTQ+ communities to clearly and peacefully oppose efforts to persecute and discriminate against LGBTQ+ individuals.

If you can, please consider contributing to the March via my personal link: https://www.crowdrise.com/equality-march-2017/fundraiser/lynnettemcfadzen1
